The Great War has ended, but what lessons have we learned? Join Miss Bennett for today's lesson in history and reading. Some say history repeats itself. What clues does Miss Bennett's lesson reveal to support or defy that claim? Can you think of a time in your life when history repeated itself?
The Midway Schoolhouse was originally built in 1893 in Gig Harbor, Washington. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. Moved to the Harbor History Museum campus in 2009, the schoolhouse was carefully restored by the Gig Harbor Rotary Club to house our school program and for public viewing.
In 2019, we welcomed our 10,000th school student in the Pioneer School Experience. We hope you can visit soon, too.
